First -- the trick tips and other articles on this site reflect the opinions and experience of one skater -- me -- and a few others. Everyone does tricks slightly differently. So when you are learning these tricks, you need to consider the idea that you might need to modify them for your personal style. You should also consider the difficulty of the trick. Beginners should not be trying harder stuff. So what I'm saying here is that I take no responsibility for you well-being. Skateboarding, even when done well, can be a dangerous activity. You need to be careful when you do it. Sometimes this involves wearing safety equipment.

Likewise, if you get hurt trying to follow these instructions, you are on your own. I do not make any guarantees about these tips or product reviews as far as accuracy. I simply do the best I can to help people learn.

Parents -- you need to make sure your kids are skating safely. The kids are your responsibililty, not mine. You should be aware of what kind of skating they are doing, and what kind of safety equipment they are wearing, where they are skating, and with whom they are skating.

Like I said, I encourage the use of safety equipment. However, I can't force anyone to use it. It's the responsibility of the individual skater and/or their parent(s) to make decisions about safety equipment.

Finally, in case all the above is not clear, I, Bob the webmaster, take no responsibility or accept no liability for injuries resulting from participating in skateboarding.

Skate safe and skate smart. Don't skate in traffic. Don't try crazy stuff you know you can't do. Give injuries time to heal. Get proper treatment for injuries. Don't hide injuries. Go to the doctor if you need it.
