Frontside No-Comply Varial
The Frontside No-Comply Varial is a fun trick to learn for flat ground skating. You can do them off curbs, up curbs, or just skating down the street. It may actually be a little easier than the regular frontside 180 no-comply.
Just to prove that young dogs can learn old tricks, this is Fletcher doing the move.
When you're doing no complys, the idea is that the step you take on the ground is very quick. Your foot hits the ground and you immediately hop back in the air. It is one smooth motion.

Rolling forward at medium speed, Fletcher has his rear foot across the tail, with the heel hanging slightly off the edge. The front foot is on top of the front truck.
In frame 2, you can see that he is beginning to take his front foot off the deck, to step into the no-comply.

Frame 3 shows that as he steps, and while his foot is still off the ground, Fletcher is using the other foot to give the tail a little pop, which will get it in the air and doing a 180.
In frame 4, you can see that the board actually pops up almost end over end as it does the 180.

In frames 5 and 6, as the board is completing the 180, Fletcher smoothly continues his step-through for the no-comply.

In frames 7 and 8, he continues the smooth stepping motion, and jumps back in the air, preparing to land the trick. The board has completed the 180, and Fletcher is moving his feet toward a landing position.
