The BigSpin is a 360 Shove-It, from a fakie, with a 180 Body Varial in the same direction as the Shove-It.
Before learning this move, it will help if you have your Fakie 180 Shove-It down.
There are many variations of this move -- going foward, BigSpin Flip, etc. Check out the video clip here. |

Begin the trick rolling fakie at moderate speed. You can do them faster as you get better at the trick. Your back foot should be on the tail, and your front foot on top of the front truck.

In frame 3, I'm in the air, and the board is a little more than 90 degrees around. Frame 4 show the board 180 degrees around, and my body has turned 90 degrees in the same direction. Note that in both frames my center of balance is directly over the board. You can't see it well in these images, but I'm watching my board the whole time, keeping up with it's rotation. |

In frames 5 and 6, I allow the board to continue rotating, and I'm getting my feet in position to land the trick (frame 5). I pay particular attention to my rear foot, so I can get it on the tail nice and solid. In frame 6, I actually touch down, catching the board 270 degrees around, in a wheelie. |

In the last 2 frames, having caught the board in a wheelie, I pivot the remaining 90 degrees, finishing the move. |
